This Morning presenter Alison Hammond has bid an emotional farewell to her ITV colleague. The star told producer Sam Palmano that he was “so loved” as he prepared for the next chapter of his career.

Alison, 46, posted a video montage from a fun work night out in front of her one million Instagram followers yesterday.
The clips featured her colleagues dropping down low on the dance floor with drinks in hand to Beyonce’s Partition.
Alison captioned the post: “Farewell to @sampalmano, one of our producers who works on @thismorning.
“You are so loved and will be missed by the team!! Farewell but please stay in touch."

“Sam is in the blue shirt and loves dancing on tables,” Alison added with a cheeky wink.
The Instagram post got a lot of love from Alison’s followers, who were tickled by the team’s dance moves.
This Morning’s chef Juliet Sear commented: “OMG this is everything @Sampalmano.
“I heard the brilliant stories of the table dancing (and more) but so glad I’ve got to witness it on here.
“What a bloomin’ legend Sam you’re one of a kind!” she added with raised hands emojis. (sic)
Trishalexa wrote: “Love this! Great table dancing! Good luck on your next production, producer Sam.”
There was also a lot of love for This Morning’s Josie Gibson in the comments.
Katie wrote: “I would love to know where Josie’s hot pink dress is from. She looks incredible!”

Today Alison revealed on her Instagram story that the This Morning team had mistakenly wished her a happy birthday one day early.
Revealing a golden sign hanging above her dressing room door that read "Happy Birthday", she joked about the mix-up.
“Aww just landed and look, ‘Happy Birthday!’” she exclaimed in reaction to the decorations.
“That’s so sweet, thanks, This Morning. But the only thing is… when should I tell them it’s not today, it’s tomorrow?”
In the next clip, Alison showed her extravagantly decorated dressing room, which was full of black and pink balloons, as well as silver and pink "Happy Birthday" confetti on the desk.
She said: “Aww this is so sweet. I’ve got balloons and everything in my dressing room. How cute is this?
“Oh, and I’ve got a little birthday card! Thank you This Morning - you are the best.”
Then Alison picked up a gift from This Morning, which was on an ornate teacup and saucer with the word "gin" written on the inside of the cup in cursive.
“Oh I like that!” Alison exclaimed. “Hello, gin!”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am.
