Matt Damon has been enjoying himself at a beach in Miami with wife Luciana - and showing off his tattoo tributes to his family.

Matt Damon soaked up the sun with his wife Luciana while on vacation in Miami.

The couple was spotted hanging out together at the beach on Monday after what was a hectic summer for the 52-year-old actor, starring in box office success Oppenheimer.

Hollywood hunk Matt and Luciana, 47, was seen talking with each other in knee deep water, about where the waves were crashing.

The actor showed off his washboard abs, wearing only a black bathing suit and sunglasses, while his wife wore a blue bikini and white mesh hat.

The couple stood close, standing in the sand and water, and couldn't have looked more at ease with each other.

Matt also showed off his ink, including his tattoo of Lucy marked on his right arm in tribute to his wife.

In 2019, he added the names of their four daughters, Alexia, 24, Isabella, 16, Gia, 14, and Stella, 12.

The photographs of the couple, who tied the knot in 2005, come only months after their last beach vacation: an island-hopping trip around the Greek Island of Mykonos.

The Hollywood star and his wife were joined by Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth and other friends.

"Chris has been a big fan of Matt Damon, me too, and then when I met his wife I’m even more of a fan of his wife,” Chris' wife, Elsa Pataky, told People in January 2018.

She added: “They are such amazing people. We have three kids, they have four kids, so we ended up making the same plans because everything we do with our kids, so it’s easier to do things with people that understand you."

In Mykonos, Matt and Luciana were also seen having some PDA during an outing at the island’s famed Paraga Beach.

Photographs showed Matt kissing his wife's stomach while her arms were wrapped around his shoulders.

So, the couple have definitely taken time to relax after a busy summer that saw Matt on press tours and at events promoting Oppenheimer.

"I do pride myself, in a large part because of her, at being a professional actor," Matt said of Luciana during an interview with Jake's Takes. "And what being a professional actor means is you go and you do the 15-hour day and give it absolutely everything, even in what you know is going to be a losing effort. If you can do that with the best possible attitude, then you're a pro. And she really helped me with that."

The couple now call New York their home, but Miami is a special place for them.

Matt met Luciana when she was working as a bartender in Miami Beach while filming the comedy Stuck on You.

Their daughters Isabella and Gia were also born there.
