THEY'VE spent the best part of three months Down Under, but yesterday Angelina Jolie and her children arrived back in the US.

The 38-year-old and her brood were spotted making their way through LAX airport in Los Angeles with Brad Pitt following their long-haul flight from Australia, and they certainly looked in need of a good night's sleep.

Angelina looked pale and tired as she accompanied her six children through the terminal.

The actress was wearing her usual attire of black skinny trousers and flip flops, but added a splash of colour with her bright green pashmina.

She completed her look with oversized aviator sunglasses and carried a black leather handbag as she held her daughter Vivienne's hand.

The five-year-old tot - who has a twin brother Knox - looked adorable in a patterned dress and black leggings, and appeared to be carrying a comfort blanket.

She walked alongside her older sister Shiloh, who was wearing her usual tomboy attire which consisted of black shorts and a matching ACDC hoody.

The couple's eldest child, 12-year-old Maddox, was modelling a similar style and wore all black with a pair of sunglasses as he listened to music.

Ten-year-old Pax also wore a pair of aviator sunglasses like his parents, but appeared more childlike as he carried a big purple teddybear.

'Fight Club' star Brad kept a protective eye on the youngsters as they headed to theoir waiting vehicle.

The 50-year-old star joined his family in Oz at the end of January and was by Angelina's side to attend the wrap party for her latest film 'Unbroken'.

'Unbroken' is an upcoming war drama film which has been scripted by Joel and Ethan Coen.

The film stars Jack O'Connell, Garrett Hedlund, and Domhnall Gleeson, and is based on the life of Olympic athlete Louis Zamperini.
