06.08.08, 3:41pm
If there some people ona plane that are caught drunk or for any other reason that puts the lives of the other passengers and the plane in danger should be banned from flying for life. prison wont stop them, as prisons are like holiday camps.

HEAVY FINES AND COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS
06.08.08, 12:46pm
These appalling creatures calling themsleves 'women', should be fined heavily and given community Sevice for at least 6 months and NAMED AND SHAMED in all national press.
The naming and shaming in the press might make them stop to think before they drink to excess and give Britian a very bad name .

EDITOR - CORRECTION PLEASE

These women, I use the word in the loosest sense of the word, were actually from Salford, Greater Manchester, not Merseyside.

Fruity says 'stay on topic'.
I thought you were to be honest.
another CFB/NFSH/Prawnsandwich alias by the looks of it.
It is becoming very boring on these forums. Do you think they are trying to wind them down?
A good impression of that if not....

SHOULD JET YOBS BE JAILED?
01.08.08, 11:06pm
Yes they should but what can we do, Britain has many more yobs than prison places. I advise the law abiding minority to emigrate while other counties will still accept UK citizens. I exagerate slightly but it's only a matter of time, we've all seen "Brits abroad" at some time or another.

I WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY UNCOMFORTABLE IF I HAD BEEN ON THAT AIRCRAFT

In fact, I probably would have had an episode of incontinence. Those unruly women should be seriously punished for what they did and for the fear and anxiety that they must have inflicted upon their fellow travellers.
Throw the book at them!

"XXXX" - WHAT IS THIS?
31.07.08, 10:47am
I am sure I didn't type "xxx" in my last posting!
Has my PC GONE "PC"?, or has my Daily Express gone soft?
How about dregs or thrash instead of "xxxx"

SHOULD JET YOBS BE JAILED?

Haven't you heard - the prisons are full.
A much better and cheaper idea is to birch the terrorist **** - that would ensure they didn't do it again.

BACK TO THE TOPIC OF THE SCOUSER YOBBETTS

Since 9/11, airline passengers are more likely to assist cabin staff in restraining unruly punters. Is it now time to employ air marshals like El Al and nip any threat in the bud by disabling them as soon as they start?
After all, the airline is usually in international air space and can deal appropriately.

"Actually, the court judges don't consult ministers when assessing the evidence.
Also, judges have discretion about what punishment to give. The judges advise the government about appropriate tariffs!"
Yes a judge or stipe/magistrate has discretion however that is bound by sentencing guidelines. Burglary carries a MAXIMUM of 14 years imprisonment- care to post any stories of burglars who receive this penalty?
The long and short of it is that government is at the heart of all that is said and done in the legal system. Do you think its coincidence that the legal aid bill has gone from £80m- £1.3bn under Labour? Nothing like oiling the palms of your mates.
Oh and as for punishments for offences, under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003, who determined the maximum sentences? Please do tell all about acts of Parliament.
