ARTICLE SUMMARY

Alistair Darling has got to go!

Until recently I have felt some sympathy for the hapless Chancellor.

ALISTAIR DARLING

13.08.08, 11:57am

Why only Alistair Darling? He hasn't done anything, literally. He took over the mess left by Brown and has carried on on his orders. Who is to replace him? There is not one, not one, possible candidate for the job any better that we know of. The sad fact is that the government party is totally lacking in administratative talent and we are stuck with them until the next election and, within limits, they can determine when that is to be.
Some democracy, some constitution.

He has joined up with the other inept bunch of chancers, this "government" is full of left wing loonies all hell bent on doing nothing apart from claiming fat expenses and cliniging on to power for its own end.Wont be long now they will all be on the dole, apart from cabinet of course ,they will be doing the round of chat shows, taking seats on boards, yes when it comes to their own well being they seem to come into their own.

POOR OLD ALISTAIR.

07.08.08, 6:42pm

You wouldnt want to be Alistair Darling, would you?
He's like a boil on the backside of a sick old elephant.
How he wishes he could turn back the clock 5 or 6 years, and conduct the economy properly, with the runaway property market brought well under control.
He has my sympathy. Others have dropped him right in it.

WHAT DID DARLING DO IN HIS PREVIOUS LIFE?

07.08.08, 6:26pm

Seems any politician can pretend to be an expert in the post he was put into - these posts are changed on a frequent basis -
Would you put a road sweeper in charge of the Bank of England? ( no insult to road sweepers - you can see the result of their efforts)
The whole Labour gov should go - make your MP if Labour worried - contact them and tell them what you think -

07.08.08, 4:34pm

Thay should all resign , if they had one ounce of honour between them ?

I would not hold my breadth though, Labour and the word Honour is not really a match made in heaven !
