ARTICLE SUMMARY

Are you worse off under Gordon Brown?

SOARING food and fuel costs pushed up inflation at a record rate to a 16-year high yesterday.

JAMES CROSBY IS CORRUPT AND IS BRINGING THIS COUNTRY TO ITS KNEES

03.10.08, 12:52am

Given that James Crosby (ex-CEO of HBOS and St James Place, both of who were involved in a massive ponzi scheme headed by 2 accountants from late 2000), is running the FSA and for several years now - AND has been successfully BLOCKING a Public enquiry into a huge fraud that took place with HBOS operating it at the 'helm' back in 2001-2003, it's interesting how he is now sitting on the Government "think tank' panel, hailed as a "mortgage Tsar", supposedly "to find out why the UK mortgage market is collapsing" !
DISINGENUOUS is the least of it - he was the 'man at the top' when the rot set in, where HBOS (under his 'rule') issued scores of delinquent and fraudulent sub-prime loans to innocent victims, in order to fund-raise the huge ponzi scheme, headed by 2 accountants (both serving jail sentences since early this year) - AND got away with it apart from a nominal £1.25m money laundering fine. Nice work if you can get it ! Crosby almost tripled the Bank's profits in these 3 years in question !!

HBOS even used the fraudster accountants to provide all the bogus 'statements of means' for the delinquent loans that they granted on a 'green light / no questions asked' basis. Nice, huh ? the innocent people are having to live with the consequences of this abomination.

THE FSA SHOULD BE DISBANDED & G.BROWN DEPOSED

03.09.08, 11:38pm

HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT NO COMMENTS ARE INVITED AGAINST THE CORRUPT FSA AND AGAINST HBOS IN THIS FORUM ? THIS IS BECAUSE THE FSA IS NOW BEING RUN BY THE EX-CHAIRMAN OF HBOS !
That's right.

Now, if you want to figure out why the Bank of Scotland's share prices collapsed, and why the FSA have just given them the 'all clear' in their "investigation", beware because the FSA's "investigations" are back-scratching exercises !

Gordon Brown is allowing the rot to run the country and wondering why we have the worst credit crunch in 60 years.

ARE WE WORSE OFF UNDER BROWN??

24.08.08, 11:27am

Well put it this way......this government is ripping people off with their stealth taxes, fuel and energy bills risen...cost of food risen.....council taxes risen.....inflation up, a recession on the horizon. Theres nothing positive to say about them even losing confidential data and their suppose to be in charge of the British security.
Where has Britian gone? there are so many ex pats now leaving the country ( and understandably so) so many immigrants coming in using our health, education and housing system. If Brits go to other countries they cannot get this, and why? because other countries in Europe are not as stupid as the UK.

INCREASING WORK FORCE NUMBERS

19.08.08, 8:16am

The best way to redistribute wealth is to end mental illness. This would free up £100 billion a year in the UK alone. The Kadir-Buxton Method cures the mentally ill in just thirty seconds and a local practice nurse can do it.
We then use the five Buxton Coefficients of Unemployment at a local level to create jobs for them, and suddenly we have ridden out the economic crisis and can look forward to another four years of Gordon Brown. Go for it Gordon.

ER YES

16.08.08, 6:30pm

I think many of us "HARD WORKING" people have been shafted by this government.

Go to the No 10 website, breaking news - Number 10 in bloom.

I don't get a rats a*se if No 10 is in bloom, are they managing the economy - NO, are they wasting vast amounts of money - YES. This is the cr*p they get upto wasting "OUR" money!

We need TOP business people to run this country as a "A PROPER" business and not by unskilled, political prats like brown. An economy that's low tax, more self interested, entrepreneurial, has great education and stops rediculous pockets of greed but promotes Britishness abroad!

Time the lot of them were pushed out!!!!!!!!!!!

WASTED

16.08.08, 1:09pm

According a certain report this week Labour has been responsible for the 'wasting' of over £1trn. How can this be? How can there have been so much money thrown down the drain?

Gordon has really stuffed the UK with his fiscal policy, so much so that we're now talking of the retirement age going up to countermand the damage he's done to a once world cl**** system.

The withdrawl of tax dividends from pensions wiped several billion from the value straight away, then the regulation to force trustees to invest in bonds rather than equities- he has destroyed people's very future survival.

But enough of the future gloom, how about in this very minute? Tax burden isn't the word (and matters not to the government according to Ed 'So What?!' Bal ls) Half the price of a pint is tax and duty over three quarters price of cigarettes is tax and duty, two thirds of a litre of fuel is tax and duty, council tax rises at more than 25 times the rate of inflation, extra charges for waste removal (half as often) increased car tax under the appallingly false banner of environmental protection, income tax scam, huge NI contributions, taxation on savings, the great stamp duty rip-off, inherritance tax threshold reduced to rake in record levels of treasury income, no governance of blatantly overinflated domestic fuel charges, having to cough up for Brown's failed tax credit systems- typically over-paying £3-4bn per annum, £130bn a year on quangos to fund, burgeoning public sector employment despite Brown's own insistance that the sector was 'vastly over-staffed' and that's the starter for ten

ARE YOU WORSE OFF UNDER GORDON BROWN?

16.08.08, 12:37pm

Gordon Brown as Chancellor and Tony Blair as Prime Minister together damaged the economy and democracy of Britain. They have given away our rights as an independent nation to an unelected EU government, have wasted tax payers money, have given away £billions to Africa and have damaged our education system. The list goes on, every thing labour has touched is in a shambles - even there stealth social engineering programme is a failure.
Brown as unelected PM and his political yes men a just continuing ruin the every day lives of the British people, it is labours policies, not the wworld credit crunch that has realy hit Mr and Mrs average in Britain.
Labour must be ousted. Better still, Brown should call for an early general election and then he may score some political bownie points with the British people.

GORDON'S THEME

16.08.08, 2:02am

Easy said and easy done is how we like this
Keep us in our place

You're the night, the dirty night
That keeps us going
Nothing left to waste

Pull a sentence from your lips
To keep them quiet
What they want to hear

Oh you're the night, the dirty night
That keeps us going
No-one left to fear

As the sun goes down on a broken town
And the fingers bleed in the factories
Come on out tonight, come and see the sight
Of the ones you love and the ones you love
And you
Keep with me, keep with me, keep with me, keep with me

Smile for once, for a moment
It makes us happy
What we need is here

Oh you're the night, the dirty night
You make us angry
There's everything to fear

As the sun goes down on a broken town
And the fingers bleed in the factories
Come on out tonight, come and see the sight
Of the ones you love and the ones you love
And you
Keep with me, keep with me, keep with me, keep with me

EVERYTHING SOARS BUT GORDON.

15.08.08, 8:40pm

Even the hopes of the proletariat soared in '97. Right now the Russkies are so much in contempt of us we must be quite an example of all that the psycho Lenin was so jealous of. As for Brown, my dog is twice as smart, believe me. Brown could'nt run a water wagon in the desert. He'd die of hypothermia. And all around.Soon it will be emigration time, where the men are men, and the less said about the other the better.
