The 25-year-old British actress won an Oscar nomination for her role in An Education and she has been in big demand in Tinseltown ever since. And she puts it all down to having played so many men.

“I went to an all-girls school and I was always slightly jealous of the girls who got to play the pretty ingénue parts and I had to be the boy. That is how it is at all-girl schools. There has always got to be someone who takes on the man parts. And it was always me. But by choice, too. I think it helped me in a way.”
