Harry Potter 2025 release announced that will thrill fans waiting for TV remake

The Harry Potter franchise has announced some exciting 2025 content for fans eagerly awaiting the TV remake of JK Rowling's books.

It’s been 13 years since the movies ended and since then Warner Bros have announced another adaptation of ’s best-selling books.

This time around the story of the boy wizard will be told through a TV series format that will have more time to go into narrative sub-plots that couldn’t fit into the movies.

But in the meantime, the Wizarding World franchise has made an exciting content announcement to keep fans busy next year.

Harry Potter fans will no doubt be familiar with the audiobooks read by Stephen Fry in the UK and Jim Dale in the US.

Now all seven novels are to be retold with an ensemble cast, Dolby Atmos sound, an original score and real-world sound capture.

Exclusive to Audible, the seven Harry Potter adventures will be released sequentially for a global audience in the English-language from late 2025.

Neil Blair, Chairman of Pottermore Publishing called the upcoming new Harry Potter audiobooks “sophisticated, immersive audio experience”.

He added: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Audible on what will be a ground-breaking audio edition of the beloved Harry Potter stories.

“J.K. Rowling’s storytelling lends itself perfectly to the application of new audiobook technologies, and we’re certain this sophisticated, immersive audio experience will not only add a new listening dimension for existing fans but will introduce a whole new generation of listeners to the wizarding world.”
