‘I bought a designer bag from a charity shop for £4 but it is really worth £3,400!’
Content creators are sharing their thrifting hauls from charity shops, such as Goodwill, and how they are able to find expensive items for a cheap price.
One shopper was able to buy a luxury designer purse for just over £4 which could be worth over £3,000.
Tamala Rennee is a content creator on TikTok who shares lifestyle advice to her hundreds of thousands of followers.
On a recent trip to the charity shop Goodwill, Ms Renee was able to find a brown designer purse and make big savings.
In a video, she shared her Goodwill haul and revealed how much she paid for an item that she later discovered was worth way more than what she paid.
Recently, Tamala revealed her shock at finding a luxury item at Goodwill which she could immediately tell would make a “huge profit” if resold.

The content creator shared: “I cannot believe I found this. Did I really just find this? If I was a reseller, I would be like ‘This is my best find ever, it’s going to turn a huge profit’.
“I went to the Goodwill as I do most days and just wait until you see what I found.”
Among the items she purchased were a black Mickey Mouse coin purse, a yellow poncho and a summer dress.”
However, the TikTokker’s “best find” was a luxury brown purse from the prestige brand, Celine.

Tamala added: “Now, to the average eye this doesn't look like much. I didn’t know what it was either until I opened it up.
“You see that [showing Celine brand logo]. Just Google how much these purses cost, just do that for me.”
Purses and handbags from this particular designer usually exclusively sell for around $1,000 (£799.60) but can be bought for upwards of $5,000 (£3,998) or more.
During the two-minute clip, Tamala confirmed that she had to go out and get the bag authenticated to make sure she had the luxury item.
In the comment section of the TikTok video, one of her viewers confirmed that this purse was in fact the real deal.
They said: “That is a Céline Teen Classic bag! Retails anywhere from $3,700 (£2,958.52) to $4,300 (£3,438.28). Some people have all the luck. Awesome find.”
According to Tamala, she only paid $5.29 (£4.23) for the bag which could be worth over £3,000 if she decided to resale.
Despite this, the TikTok star confirmed reselling the Celine purse was not part of her plan despite its alleged worth.
