Lotto takes place twice a week - and all you need to do to play is pick six numbers from one to 59 and a bonus ball.
Or, you can opt for a Lucky Dip, which means your numbers will be randomly chosen for you.
You can buy a ticket on and off draw days, and they only cost £2 per entry.
On draw days, you can buy a ticket for that night’s draw until 7.30pm.
On days when your game isn’t being drawn, you can buy tickets between 6am and 11pm.
You can purchase tickets from the National Lottery website or app, or by popping down to your local newsagent.
Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked automatically, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.
You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery App to check if you’ve won.
Those who buy a ticket online via the app will receive an email informing them of their success.
Anyone who enters will have a limited time to claim their prize, however.
The National Lottery gives people a window of 180 days to come forward, starting the day after the draw.
