Police issued an urgent appeal to trace a mum and her four young children, all of whom went missing after visiting a supermarket - before turning up safe the following day. The woman, Allana, 43, from Walkden, in Manchester, was reported missing after she was last seen on High Street in Rhyl, Salford, yesterday at 8.05am.

Greater Manchester Police said she has now been found.

She was described as white, about 5ft 8, of medium build, with shoulder-length brown hair.

When she was last seen she was wearing a light-coloured coat, with black leggings and black trainers.

Speaking before she was traced, a police spokesperson said: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Allana and her family and want to make sure they are safe and well.

"Anyone with information about Allana whereabouts should contact police on 0161 856 5207 or via 101."
