A woman has left pedestrians in London in hysterics after she publicly broke up with her boyfriend on a billboard.

The mysterious woman named Sarah announced that she was leaving her cheating boyfriend after seven years of dating.

An ad was displayed on a big screen around central London which shared the message by Sarah for her partner, apparently named "Daniel Patel".

On the digital billboard, she claimed he had been messing around behind her back.

People walking on the road couldn't control their laughter as they walked past the billboard.

Many of them stopped to take pictures and videos of the message, which have now been shared on social media.

In one of the clips, shared on by an account named @vanvertise, the ad revealed that the couple had been dating for more than seven years. But it all went wrong when Sarah "saw the text messages".

The text over the clip said: "POV: You're walking through central London and see this message on a digital billboard."

The billboard read: "To my cheating boyfriend Daniel Patel. I saw the text messages. Seven and a half years down the drain. Enjoy 'work' you immoral scumbag. Sarah."

Before the account added in the caption: "A very long day indeed for Mr Daniel Patel."

TikTok users were left howling with laughter at the billboard as they took to the comments demanding to know more about the story.

One user said: "Sarah is my level of petty."

Another said: "We need a story time!"
