Grieving husband’s body found in woods hours after wife tragically passes away
THE body of a man has been found the day after his wife’s sudden death.
Lee Taylor went missing from his family home in Tadworth, Surrey, hours after his wife of 15 years died.
Carole, 45, suffered a stroke on Saturday morning, leaving Mr Taylor distraught.
On Sunday night police found the 48-year-old’s body in woodland, eight miles from his home.
A spokesman for Surrey Police said: “A body, believed to be that of missing Tadworth man Lee Taylor, has been found in the Dorking area.”
May you both rest in peace with each other
In a moving tribute, his brother-in-law Steve Pratt wrote on Facebook: “My beautiful sister and her wonderful husband. May you both rest in peace with each other.
“We will all be waving at the stars tonight knowing you two are together for ever. We love you both.”
Mr Taylor’s daughter Lauren posted: “Dad, I love you so much.”
A neighbour said: “It’s horrendous and so sad. You can understand how you could feel that desperate when you lose a partner. It’s absolutely devastating.”
