NEARLY 670 Anglican bishops joined leaders of all faiths yesterday to demonstrate against world poverty.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, led the march through London, calling for the richest nations to keep their promise to halve poverty by 2015.

Dr Williams was joined by Roman Catholic archbishop Cardinal Cormac Murphy- O’Connor, Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks and the former Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, Sir Iqbal Sacranie.
