A man who thought his cars were being vandalised by youths was shocked to discover that the offender was a tiny bird.

Adam Fradgley, 35,spent weeks thinking youngsters were attacking his Audi A2 and Golf GTI before realising the culprit was a chaffinch.

The freelance photographer, from Bewdley, Worcestershire, set up a camera to catch the bird as he pecked at the vehicles, causing £2,000 of damage.
