The Indian version of the hit show, called Bigg Boss, features 12 Indian celebrities and is hosted by Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty – who was at the centre of the controversial race row in the 2007 celebrity version of the series.

Media regulator Ofcom received 45,000 complaints over alleged bullying from Goody and fellow contestants, model Danielle Lloyd and singer Jo O’Meara, towards Shilpa.

A month after leaving the house Jade, 27, visited India to apologise, saying: “I am sorry for the hurt and pain that my actions caused.”
