Coronation Street fans 'work out' Tracy Barlow exposes Aaron after rape

Coronation Street's Amy Barlow recently revealed to Tracy Barlow that Aaron Sandford raped her after a night out together. But now viewers have claimed Tracy will take matters into her own hands.

Coronation Street: Aaron kisses Amy as she drunkenly passes out

Coronation Street icon Tracy Barlow (played by Kate Ford) recently found out Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvany) had been raped by friend and housemate Aaron Sandford (James Craven). After taking Amy to the police station, Tracy was distraught her daughter had been through the ordeal and had hidden it from them. Now ITV viewers have claimed Tracy will take matters into her own hands and get her revenge on Aaron.

Aaron was recently arrested by the police in connection with the rape Amy had alleged but was soon let go after insufficient evidence against him.

After managing to spin a web of lies about the night in question, Tracy was furious on Friday evening's episode to see that he had returned to work at the mechanics.

Storming over, she fumed: "Come on then. What pack of lies have you told the police for them to let you go?"

Worried about what she was going to do, he sheepishly replied: "Nothing. I just told them the truth."

Furious, Tracy snapped: "Are you calling my daughter a liar? You want this whole inconvenient business to just go away.

"Well, it won't. Because we want justice for you raping our daughter. You're a liar!" before she looked down and noticed a wrench sitting on the windscreen of the car.

However, before she done anything stupid Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) walked in and called: "Tracy?"

"You know, when they bang you up, I hope you rot in there," were the last words before walking away leaving Aaron flustered.

Later in the episode, Amy was back at the police station being questioned about her previous communication with Aaron.

They asked Amy about a time when she had been out with her ex-boyfriend Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) and how she had sex with him a club before they were officially together.

The police were also curious about the photo which had been taken the day after the assault after both Amy and Aaron had lunch at Speed Daal with their friends.

After returning home from the station, the officer paid them a visit and gave them the bad news there was not enough evidence and the case was being dropped.

Furious her daughter's allegation wasn't being taken seriously, Tracy went ahead and printed the posters Amy told her not to.

Viewers of the ITV soap have become adamant Tracy will take matters further and attempt to expose Aaron herself.
