Love Island fans beg Ella Thomas not to trust Tyrique Hyde after first date confession
Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas appear to have turned a corner on Love Island since meeting on the opening episode of series 10, but are their feelings genuine?
Love Island First Look: Tyrique not 'closed off'
Love Island originals Tyrique Hyde told Ella Thomas he'd closed himself off to her during a romantic date, but fans are not convinced he is being sincere.
The semi-professional footballer has been giving Scottish model Ella mixed signals about where their relationship is heading for weeks, flirting with new girl Leah Taylor in recent days.
However, when they were whisked away to discuss their romance at a stunning rooftop location in Majorca, Tyrique said his loved ones would adore Ella.
After he asked if she'd consider relocating, Ella said: “I can see you have feelings for me. The fact that I can see you really trying means a lot.”
Tyrique shared: “I've had feelings in the past… But you’re the person that’s made me realise I can have strong feelings. I didn’t think I was capable, that’s why I’ll always have love and respect for you.”
By the end of the date, he revealed he'd decided to "close" himself off from other women as he wanted to be serious with her.
"I'm 100 percent to fully close myself off with you," Tyrique told Ella.
But fans did not trust Tyrique's word and they flocked to social media to comment.
