Mary Berry Everyday viewers shocked by X-rated innuendo: 'The watershed isn't until nine!'
MARY BERRY had viewers in hysterics with a very racy innuendo on tonight's episode of Mary Berry Everyday.
Mary Berry introduces "naughty" recipes for her new BBC show
Introducing the episode of indulgent treats, the 81-year-old former Great British Bake Off judge said that this week's recipes are "for days when salad just won't do."
The sumptuous dishes included her "crusty pie, oozing with delight," in an innuendo that sent viewers flooding to social media.
"Mary Berry just referenced her 'crusty pie oozing with delight' and I'm done," said one viewer.
Another exclaimed: "Does Mary Berry do that on purpose?! Her crusty, oozing pie… really?! Oh Bake Off is not going to be the same."
"'My crusty pie is oozing with delight'. F***ing hell Mary Berry, watershed isn't until nine," a third social media user added.
One viewer commented: "It can't just be me that found Mary Berry making 'Nigella' type cooking innuendos extremely uncomfortable."
Elsewhere in the show, Mary revealed how she first "wooed" her husband, Paul.
Preparing steak with peppercorn sauce, the BBC favourite told viewers: "No I didn't use steak to woo my husband. I used to persuade him to take me out because I thought I'd like him to marry me for other things other than being a good cook."
But her delicious-looking fillet steak had some viewers falling head-over-heels in love.
One Twitter user commented: "Mary Berry spreading a steak with butter is definitely the boyfriend's idea of food porn."
Her multiple references to "naughtiness" throughout the indulgent episode, which also saw her prepare a sumptuous sticky toffee pudding as well as adding a generous splash of brandy to her peppercorn sauce, caught the attention of her entertained fans.
"Is there a word Mary berry has used more frequently on this show than '…naughtiness…'? (sic)" one asked.
Mary Berry Everyday continues next Monday at 8.30pm on BBC Two.
