CHRIS EUBANK JR enjoyed a meal out at one of Salt Bae's restaurants ahead of his upcoming bout with rival Conor Benn on October 8.

Chris Eubank Jr visited social media restaurateur Salt Bae before once again trolling his fierce rival Conor Benn. The duo face off in the ring in one of British boxing’s all-time great rivalries, nearly 30 years on from the last time their two fathers fought in Manchester.

Since the fight was confirmed earlier this summer, Eubank Jr and Benn have been trying their best to toy with each other ahead of their fight this weekend. Just one week prior, 33-year-old Eubank Jr has once again been trolling Benn regarding his weight.

During the build-up to the fight, Eubank's dad, Chris Sr called for his son to be pulled from the fight for his own safety due to the 33-year-old needing to drop a significant amount of weight to meet requirements. Since then, his rival Benn has claimed that the fighter will in fact be unable to drop to the required number come weigh-in day.

Benn told PA: “He said he’s a man of his word and a disciplined athlete, but do I see him making the weight? No. If he’s disciplined and a true professional then he’ll make the weight, but I just don’t think he has that respect there for an opponent or for me personally.

“I’m willing to fight him anyway, it isn’t a concern to me. But that was the weight we agreed and if he’s a man of his word he’ll come in at that weight.” In response, Eubank has seemingly looked to troll his fellow British boxer with a post on Twitter showing him enjoying a large piece of steak served by the famed SaltBae.

In a clip the social media restaurateur is seen iconically chopping up the meat, before serving a slice from his knife directly into Eubank’s mouth. Posting it on Twitter, the fighter wrote: “Finding it hard to lose these last few lbs so I’ve decided to get a nutritionist in for my last week of weight cut before the fight this Saturday.”

Ahead of the bout at the O2 Arena, Eubank has vowed to retire if he loses on Saturday. During a debate between the two fighters on Good Morning Britain the 33-year-old said: “There's a huge amount of pressure on me for this fight, absolutely.

“I've said it before - and this is the first time I've ever said it throughout my entire career - if I lose this fight, I retire. And I love fighting, I love the sport, I love being a boxer, I don't want it to end.”
