Liverpool news: Cristiano Ronaldo blasted for what he did after Mohamed Salah final injury
LIVERPOOL star Virgil van Dijk has criticised Cristiano Ronaldo and two Real Madrid players for what happened after Mohamed Salah’s injury in the Champions League final.
The Egypt international limped out of the match following a collision with Sergio Ramos.
And Van Dijk has accused Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as Marcelo and Karim Benzema, of ‘ganging up’ on youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold.
“Mentally, something changed for Real Madrid once Salah left the pitch,” Van Dijk told De Telegraaf.
“Suddenly Marcelo, Benzema and Ronaldo all ganged up against our young right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and left the whole right flank free.

“With Salah, they would not have dared.”
Salah was linked with a move to Real Madrid after scoring 44 goals for Liverpool last season.
Ultimately, though, a transfer did not happen.
And former Reds ace Danny Murphy does not believe Salah will be making the move to La Liga anytime soon.
He said earlier this month: “It will have been a tough pill to swallow to miss out on winning the Champions League last year.
