Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho is ready to stand by Paul Pogba (Image: GETTY)
Manchester United manager Mourinho has reignited his Old Trafford war with Pogba in recent times, with the relationship between the two currently at an all-time low.
Ever since a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham back in February, the Red Devils’ two most high-profile assets have been at loggerheads.
Paul Pogba was dropped for several big Manchester United matches this season and, despite winning the World Cup with France back in the summer, it has been a similar story again this term.
The midfielder was stripped of the club’s vice-captaincy back in September.

Man United: ‘Get rid’ of Mourinho and Pogba says Saunders
“I think he is a malaise and has far too much to say for himself.
“And most of it has no relevance.
“His performances on the pitch are far and away beneath what one expects of a player who is reported to be of the quality he is.
“The World Cup success with France was [N’Golo] Kante, [Antoine] Griezmann and [Kylian] Mbappe excelling in their individual roles.
“I think there was a lot of noise and rubbish coming from Pogba inside the dressing room – I think he’s all myth.”
