Cristiano Ronaldo news: Juventus transfer regret, Messi judgement, Real Madrid claim
CRISTIANO RONALDO news is coming thick and fast. Express Sport brings you up to speed on the Juventus star with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Real Madrid both featuring.
Cristiano Ronaldo recently dubbed Juventus as ‘more of a family’ than former club Real Madrid, despite spending nine glorious years in La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu.
And Spanish outlet Ok Diario claim Los Blancos players believe his words to be down to a secret reason.
It is said Real Madrid players believe Ronaldo regrets his move to Turin.
The 33-year-old joined in a £105million transfer back in July but has scored just one Champions League goal so far.
And the report claims Los Blancos stars believe his family comments to be his own way of telling himself he made the right choice to move to Juventus.
Robert Pires has judged Lionel Messi and Ronaldo - dubbing the Barcelona star superior in the process.
The former Arsenal star told Mundo Deportivo: "If he plays like he did against Espanyol, it is impossible to stop him.
"It was incredible.
"I have played with [Zinedine] Zidane, Henry and [Juan Roman] Riquelme, and against Ronaldinho and Cristiano [Ronaldo], but Messi has something that nobody else has.
"I don't know if he is the best in history, but there are few where he is."

Real Madrid claim
Rafael Van der Vaart feels Real Madrid have missed Ronaldo since his move to Serie A.
"You cannot just replace a player who scores 40 to 50 goals per season, and, of course, Real miss Ronaldo,” Van der Vaart told Goal and Spox .
“What he did at Real is totally crazy.
"The quality in the squad is still there. They don't need any winter signings. It's always difficult to find suitable players in the winter to really help a team in this class.
"The team has to grow together again to compensate for the departure of Ronaldo.”
