And Collymore believes that both Zidane and Pochettino would be a success at Old Trafford for differing reason.
“The one thing I do know is that, if I were a United fan, I’d be delighted with either the Argentinian or Zidane as Mourinho’s replacement,” Collymore wrote for the Mirror.

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney wants Pochettino as the next man in.
Rooney was part of BT Sport’s team covering United’s clash with Cardiff and Jake Humphrey posed a question to the former England striker as well as Danny Gabbidon and Michael Owen.
He asked: “Who would you want as the next permanent manager Solskjaer, Zinedine Zidane or Mauricio Pochettino?”
Rooney, as well as Gabbidon and Owen all voted unanimously by saying “Pochettino.”

The DC United striker also explained how he messaged his former team-mate Solskjaer after he got the job, wishing him good luck.

“Something needed to change, first of all I just said get the lads enjoying their football as that was what they wanted and that was what they were after.
