Man United are 'destined' to sign Jadon Sancho says Nicol
Manchester United have made Sancho their top summer transfer target, with the England international soaring for Borussia Dortmund this season.
The 18-year-old, who left Manchester City to pursue a Bundesliga adventure in the summer of 2017, has flourished over in Germany.
As a result, Manchester United now want to make him their marquee signing of the summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has supposedly told Ed Woodward that Sancho would fit the bill and be a perfect replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is expected to leave.
With the Red Devils among the richest clubs in the footballing world, many expect them to land their man.
Dortmund, after all, have developed a reputation as a selling club in recent years.
Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shinji Kagawa (twice) have all jumped ship over the last few seasons.
But it is their decision to flog Pulisic to Chelsea that will complicate any United pursuit of Sancho.
Pulisic was once viewed as a player with the potential to win the Ballon d’Or.

But Dortmund sold him to Chelsea because they have Sancho. He was above him in the pecking order.
It was a show of faith in the teenager.
Dortmund also have no real incentive to sell. They still have money in the bank from previous transfers, and got £58million from Chelsea for Pulisic.
United, obviously, have unlimited funds.
But they will walk away when the price does not suit them - like they did over Ivan Perisic and Toby Alderweireld in recent years.
