Liverpool’s Mo Salah meets Jimmy Fallon at Time 100 Gala
Mohamed Salah has enjoyed another fine season with Liverpool as the Reds bid for Premier League and Champions League glory.
The Egyptian hasn’t quite hit the goalscoring heights he showed last season but his performances have been impressive nonetheless.
He scored 32 league goals in his debut season on Merseyside and has followed it up with 19 goals this term with three games to play.
Salah will be hoping to retain his Golden Boot but he faces competition from Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, both of whom also have 19 goals.
However, a goal against Huddersfield tonight will earn Salah a place alongside some of the Liverpool greats.
The forward will move onto 20 Premier League goals if he nets at Anfield this evening.
In doing so, he will become just the third Liverpool player to score 20 in consecutive campaigns.
Former Reds striker Robbie Fowler achieved the feat in the 1994-95 and 1995-96 seasons, while Barcelona star Luis Suarez did so in 2012-13 and 2013-14.

Salah could also put himself in a league of his own in relation to Friday fixtures.
The 26-year-old has scored in each of his three Premier League games for Liverpool on Fridays.
He is currently level with former Reds star Michael Owen and a goal tonight will set him apart.
Salah, meanwhile, spent the early part of the week in New York after being named in Time magazine's 100 most influential people of 2019.
But Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had no issue with Salah's long journey ahead of the clash with Huddersfield.
