Arsenal: Ryan Fraser transfer ‘COULD happen’ says Hislop
That’s the advice of former Premier League goalkeeper Shaka Hislop.
The Scotland international has been linked with a move to the north London outfit after enjoying a strong season with Bournemouth, contributing eight goals and 15 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
In the Premier League, Fraser has the second-most assists of any player behind Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, with 14. He has six more than Alexandre Lacazette, Arsenal’s leading top-flight creator with eight assists.
The Gunners are short in quality in wide positions and the 25-year-old could well be available on the cheap given he has just one year left on his contract with Bournemouth.
And player-turned pundit Hislop believes Arsenal boss Unai Emery should take a risk on Fraser - provided the Cherries’ asking price is not extortionate.
“I think Arsenal can get him at a reasonable price.

I’d take a chance on him at the right price

“When you consider the company he’s in, only Eden Hazard has more assists than Fraser in the Premier League this season.
“I’d take a chance on him at the right price.”
Fraser himself recently conceded that the speculation over his future may well have distracted him on the pitch of late, but hinted at a desire to remain on the south coast as he spoke of his love for the area.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: ”Maybe it hasn't helped. Subconsciously, you might think about it.

“I’m just trying to get on with my work. Every player says that. The best thing I can do is play well.
"I need to get back to scoring, assisting and winning and then what will be, will be.
“I love it here. It's not just the football club, but the manager, my team-mates, the town, the beach. I've always said that after football I will live down here. It's special."
Tottenham and Everton are among the other clubs to be linked with Fraser.
