West Ham: Manuel Pellegrini says his team 'must improve'
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is fighting to save his job as they prepare to take on Southampton on Saturday. The Hammers are only one point above the relegation zone and the Chilean has admitted he isn’t sure if he will still be in charge after the game.

West Ham have only picked up five points in their last 10 Premier League games but Pellegrini thinks his previous achievements at the club has saved him from being sacked already.
"I think the owners trust a lot in me, yes,” Pellegrini said.
"That's why they brought me here and I also expected a lot when I came here to West Ham and I think that we were in the current way for something to happen.
"But I am absolutely sure that the owner will be happy if we can recover our normal self."

The Premier League has already seen several managers sacked before the busy winter schedule, with Mauricio Pochettino and Unai Emery joined by Marco Silva who have left Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton respectively.
While bottom-of-the-table Watford have already sacked two managers with Javi Gracia and Quique Sanchez Flores both shown the door at Vicarage Road.
Pellegrini took over from David Moyes and the Chilean thinks the Hammers have improved during his time at the club.
"I think that this season we have improved a lot,” continued Pellegrini.
