Liverpool: Trent Alexander-Arnold discussed by pundits
Liverpool will only not go the whole Premier League season unbeaten if Jurgen Klopp rotates his squad once they have won the title, claims former England defender Stuart Pearce. Liverpool are currently 13 points clear at the top of the table and are yet to lose in the first 18 games of the campaign. Pearce believes it is now a matter of when, not if, the Reds will lift the elusive Premier League trophy.
Arsenal are the only team in Premier League history to go a season unbeaten after doing so in the 2003/04 campaign.
Arsenal also hold the English league record for the most consecutive games without defeat at 49.
Liverpool are already 34 games unbeaten, dating back to January 3 where they lost 2-1 at champions Manchester City.
That means the Reds will break Arsenal’s record in the process of going the season unbeaten.

Pearce has backed Liverpool to do it unless manager Klopp takes his foot off the gas once the title is in the bag.
“The only thing that might stop them doing it is if they win the league and then [Klopp] plays around with the team at the end of the season,” Pearce said on talkSPORT.
“But at this moment in time I don’t see them being stoppable.
“I’ve never seen a team win the ball back in the opposition’s half as much as they did [in the 4-0 win over Leicester] - Leicester couldn’t get out of their own half.
