Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would ideally like an upgrade on Andreas Pereira, it has been claimed. Pereira has been a regular this season following the departures of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera over the past year.
Manchester United star Pereira is a divisive figure at Old Trafford - despite being a favourite of Solskjaer’s.
The Red Devils manager believes the Brazil international has had talent and, for the most part, he’s been picked alongside Fred and Scott McTominay in the middle of the park.
However, a source has told Unibet that Solskjaer would, ideally, like to upgrade on Pereira.
“He’s a decent lad and a good squad player,” the insider said.
“But if there was more talent he wouldn’t be starting every game, especially against the top teams.”

United’s options have been thin in the middle of the park ever since Fellaini and Herrera left earlier this year.
Pereira’s path to the side is relatively clear with only Fred, McTominay, Paul Pogba and James Garner pushing him for a starting berth.
Meanwhile, speaking after United’s 2-0 win over Burnley on Saturday, Pereira spoke out.
And the midfielder warned Arsenal that United have their mojo back going into their Premier League clash, saying: "Confidence is really high.
"We have to keep going, stay humble and work hard. We have to keep this momentum going and hopefully on New Year's Day, my birthday, we can get the win."

On the win over Burnley, he added: "It was important, the back line and midfield did really well.
"They were really calm and controlled the game for us which made it easier upfront.
"We knew it was going to be a difficult game, a difficult stadium here, and it's important after victory against Newcastle we wanted to keep going and it was a good test and we did well.
"We know they play very direct and in the air.
“It's very tough to play here, but we showed great mentality and when we had the ball we put it down and we played well."
