There might be increasing uncertainty surrounding football's immediate future due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Timo Werner is still said to be "very keen" on a move to Liverpool. The summer transfer window remains scheduled to open in little over two months, but that could change given the current climate.
The Premier League has been suspended since last month with no set date on when the remainder of the campaign will be finished.
They have made it clear that finishing the season is a priority, with reports suggesting games could restart in the summer months.
That would almost certainly have an impact on the transfer window, with teams unlikely to agree on the deals potentially happening while the remaining matches are being played.
But there is a financial impact from the coronavirus pandemic on football across the world with teams currently not receiving any revenue from matches being played, scouts unable to to complete reports.

It has been suggested TV companies could demand rebates totalling £762million if the current season isn't completed by a contractual cut-off date of July 16.
Clubs that were initially working on deals early in the window will almost certainly have to re-evaluate their situation when the season does eventually restart.
Before the coronavirus outbreak, Liverpool had been strongly linked with a move for RB Leipzig forward Werner.
The Germany international had even hinted at his preference on a move to Anfield in a number of interviews.
And it seems Werner remains intent on joining Liverpool, with Evening Standard journalist David Lynch expecting the Reds to make an offer at some point in the near future.
"The pause in football has seemed to put the brakes on this one but I still expect Liverpool to move for Timo Werner whenever there is more certainty over the season restarting/transfer market dates," he told Anfield Watch.
"The player is very, very keen to move to Anfield."
