Man Utd: Pundit discusses Solskjaer's transfer plans
Manchester United transfer target and Atletico Madrid star Thomas Partey is reportedly interested in moving to the Premier League this summer. And he supposedly ‘loves’ reports linking him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. Should the midfielder sign this summer he could replace veteran Nemanja Matic, who is approaching the twilight years of his career.
Manchester United want to sign at least one midfielder this summer, regardless of whether or not Paul Pogba stays at Old Trafford.
They’ve interest in Jude Bellingham, the 16-year-old starring for Birmingham City with some slick and composed performances in the Championship this season.
They’ve also been linked with Atletico star Saul Niguez, while speculation tipping them to raid West Ham for Declan Rice is refusing to die down.
United have been backed to sign Partey as well, with the Ghana international shining under Diego Simeone in recent years.
And African football expert Saddick Adams has claimed Partey is open to moving to the Premier League - and loves speculation tipping him to move to Old Trafford.
“Yesterday, a close source to Thomas Partey told me the player doesn't want to extend his stay at Atletico and is favouring a move to the Premiership,” he tweeted.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is eager to improve his squad - even though funds are set to be relatively dry over at the Emirates.
And Partey would be a good cog in the Arsenal machine should Arteta get his wish of bringing the Atletico star to north London.
United going after the midfielder was recently backed by club legend Rio Ferdinand, who name-dropped the Ghanaian when speaking about targets his old side should pursue.
"I'd maybe go get [Thomas] Partey from Atletico Madrid or [Wilfred] Ndidi from Leicester," Ferdinand said on The Beautiful Game podcast.
"I like Saul Niguez. He’s a very, very good player in midfield."
He added: "And then a centre-back, they still need a centre-back.

United chief Ed Woodward recently urged fans to not be overly-optimistic of big-name signings this summer.
"We will continue looking for more ways of supporting those in need for as long as the pandemic continues," said Woodward.
"Everyone is grappling with the economic realities of the pandemic and we are no different. The longer the crisis continues the greater the impact will be for every club, including ourselves.
"But it is important to acknowledge the part played by our successful business in allowing us to fulfil our social responsibilities. We have always believed that our commercial model gives us greater resilience than most clubs.
"We are eager to see the team return to the field as soon as we are advised it is safe to do so.
“And while it may be that games need to be played behind closed doors in the shorter term, we all recognise that football will not be fully back to normal until supporters are once again in attendance."
