Neymar: ‘Possibility’ Barcelona could use FIFA rule says pundit
Barcelona still think they can pull off a deal to re-sign Neymar this year but only towards the end of the next transfer window, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague. Barcelona, led by president Josep Maria Bartomeu and superstar forward Lionel Messi, have made it clear they would like Neymar to return to the club, three years after he left for Paris Saint-Germain.

"Barcelona, yes, would be happy to get a deal for Neymar that means swapping players. Barcelona would like Dembele to be part of that deal," Balague said on his YouTube channel.
"But PSG right now are showing no interest in Griezmann and no interest in Dembele.
"Plus, to do these kinds of swap deals you have to have a relationship, a proper relationship with the club that you're doing that with, it has to be a good relationship.
"So Barcelona have got a good relationship with Inter, with Juventus, with perhaps Manchester City - not so much with PSG.

"Barcelona have got the possibilities of getting Neymar on pause.
"They reckon that 'let's see if there is an opportunity to do so later', perhaps just before the end of the transfer window or something like that, because right now it's not possible."
Meanwhile, European football expert Julien Laurens says Barca can realistically only afford to make one big signing this summer.

"I still think they can do Lautaro [Martinez] but that's probably the only thing they will be able to do, that's the only transfer they will be able to do this summer," Laurens told ESPN FC.
"They will only be able to do one big move and that will be Lautaro for example for €60m plus a player or two as a swap for Inter Milan, and I think that will be it.
"You won't be able to do any crazy stuff, the only thing you will be able to do is because you have thought about it, you have got rid of some players, you make some money available and then you went and did one big move and that's it."
