Arsenal vs Liverpool: Community Shield match preview
Liverpool are reportedly set to complete the signing of young goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga from Fluminese. The club have made a swoop for the 17-year-old as they look to build for the future. Michael Edwards has spent plenty of cash on bolstering Liverpool's academy ranks since being appointed as sporting director.

Following the departure of third-choice Andy Lonergan last summer, Liverpool's third goalkeeper spot could be up for grabs, particularly if Loris Karius is sold.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds recently made an official offer for Pitaluga which is set to be accepted.
He has already trained with Alisson earlier this year back in February when the Liverpool No 1 was back home in Brazil.
The former Roma man could help the youngster settle at Melwood should the deal be completed, while Roberto Firmino and Fabinho make up the rest of the Brazilian contingent at Liverpool.

Reports in Brazil claim that a move is likely to happen due to the club's finances on the back of the COVID-19 crisis.
Jurgen Klopp clearly has an eye for the South American market.
The agent of Real Madrid star Rodrygo has claimed Klopp tried to sign his client during his time at Santos.
“When Rodrygo went to make his first professional contract with Santos, aged 16, a Liverpool director called me," said agent Nick Arcuri earlier this year.

"He said that Klopp already knew the player, had seen the material, had already come to see Rodrygo personally.
"He had entered YouTube, searched ‘talents from Brazil’, Rodrygo had appeared and he was very young. He came to Brazil, liked him.”
Rodrygo went on to sign for Real Madrid but Liverpool did attempt to bring him to Anfield.
