Man City are 'still a formidable outfit' according to Jeremy Cross
Sergio Aguero will train with the Manchester City first-team ahead of their Champions League tie with Olympiacos, but will not be available for selection. The Argentinian striker missed four months after suffering a knee injury back in June.
He did return for the game with Arsenal last month, but suffered a fresh injury as his frustrating start to the season continued.
Aguero was back in Pep Guardiola’s squad for the defeat to Tottenham on Saturday, but was an unused substitute.
Guardiola has now confirmed that the 32-year-old is in full training, but their focus is on him making a full recovery.
"We want Aguero to come back," he said during his pre-Olympiacos press conference. "Today he's training again, we want him to recover a good feeling in his knee.

"This is the most important thing. One step at a time, we have many games this season and we will need him. We want to recover his best condition."
Elsehwere, Guardiola also confirmed that full-back Benjamin Mendy and midfielder Fernandinho are fit and available, with Nathan Ake the only absentee.
Man City travel to Greece knowing a fourth straight win will put them in total command of Group C.
Olympiacos are suffering with a number of injury issues themselves, but Guardiola has insisted his players are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to continue their 100% European record.

But he has suggested that Premier League clubs are at a disadvantage to their neighbours on the continent.
“Every season we are at a disadvantage,” Guardiola said. “We have to adapt but even when the situation is normal but that is the challenge.
“When you are able to do it, it is nicer. Nobody before could win a domestic treble. If your mind is in the right way, you can do it.”
City face Olympiacos before continuing their Premier League campaign against Burnley on Saturday.
