Man Utd: What could tempt Haaland to Old Trafford?
Manchester United are in the market for a striker this summer and they have been heavily linked with Erling Haaland and Harry Kane. However, former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes a move for either player is not "realistic" at the moment.
Instead, Hargreaves believes United would be best served by spending the money it would take to sign Haaland or Kane on three new additions.
The 40-year-old feels the Red Devils need a right-winger, a holding midfielder and another centre-back, naming Jadon Sancho, Raphinha and Declan Rice as potential options.
Speaking on BT Sport, Hargreaves said: "Of course, I think every ex-Man United player or fan would love Erling Haaland or Harry Kane, but I think the money that they would cost right now in the climate, I don't think it’s realistic.

United legend Paul Scholes, meanwhile, disagreed with Hargreaves' assessment, urging his former club to sign "a proper centre forward" like Haaland or Kane.
"I think United as a club needs to sign a forward for the next five years," he said. "A proper centre forward, a Kane or Haaland.
"Cavani, it would be great to have for another year. We’ve had him for a year now.
"He’s been fantastic, but he will be a year older and will slow down a little bit, fitness-wise and injury-wise he might not be great.
