Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has lauded Mohamed Salah as one of the world's best players after Sunday's 2-2 draw against Manchester City. Klopp believes that if Salah were Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, he would be considered world-class following his contribution to the Anfield stalemate.
Salah ran riot down the right during the second half, first providing the assist for Sadio Mane's opener on the hour mark.
After Phil Foden equalised for the visitors, the 29-year-old produced a solo wondergoal to fire Liverpool back into the lead.
Kevin De Bruyne netted a late leveller as the score finished 2-2 in the Premier League title showdown.
After full-time, Klopp rued Rodri's late block to deny the hosts going ahead for the third time but hailed Salah's impact.

The German boss shared his frustration by suggesting that Salah won't receive as much credit as Manchester United forward Ronaldo if he produced similar brilliance.
He said: "Both [goals] were pretty good. The biggest chance we didn't use.
"I have no idea how Rodri blocked the ball. For me the ball was in, but it's all fine.
"If Leo Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo score that goal then the world says yes because it's world class. He [Salah] is one of the best players in the world, that's how it is."

"The message was to play the extra pass. We didn't do that in the first half at all. Do we want to win a game like this? Yes. We have to admit today, the point is completely fine."
Liverpool head into the second international break of the season on 15 points in second, one point behind league leaders Chelsea after seven games.
Manchester City have moved up to third on goal difference but are level on 14 points with United, Everton and Brighton.
Salah and Ronaldo will soon meet on the pitch when United host Liverpool at Old Trafford on October 24.
