Man Utd show they have not learnt Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel lesson
Tuchel has transformed Chelsea into Premier League title contenders since replacing Frank Lampard, but Solskjaer is struggling to deliver the same at Manchester United.

That is despite having signed Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer transfer window.
Solskjaer is still yet to win a trophy with United, with the closest he has got being a penalty shootout defeat to Villarreal in last season’s Europa League final.
The Norwegian has also failed to bring United close to winning their first title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, with his best result being a second-place finish last season, 12 points behind champions City.

The Red Devils could have taken a leaf out of Chelsea’s book and brought in an elite manager to finally return them to the top of the Premier League.
But the United hierarchy have proven that they have not learnt that lesson by handing Solskjaer and his backroom team new contracts.
Solskjaer was given a new deal in the summer, with assistant boss Phelan following suit this week, with both now tied down until 2024.
The United boss will have to improve performances quickly if he is to avoid Lampard’s fate, though the Red Devils arguably should have taken that decision already.
