Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reviews the Fulham win
The Premier League may have entered its first international break of 2023, but that won't stop the ever-flowing stream of football news. Over the next two weeks, clubs will gear up for the fast-approaching season run-in, with transfer tidbits also starting to crop up ahead of the summer.
England begin their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign on Thursday against Italy in Naples, the two big hitters in Group C. Ukraine are the next biggest threat to the Three Lions' qualification hopes, and they visit Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
While club football is away, Tottenham Hotspur may have a big decision to make on Antonio Conte after his explosive rant after Saturday's 3-3 draw at Southampton. The dressing room's verdict has reportedly come to light amid their fight to maintain a top-four spot.
Meanwhile, the Jude Bellingham transfer picture is gradually becoming clearer, with the favourites for his signature seemingly set. Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Real Madrid are the headline quartet in the frame.

The FA has been urged to hand Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic 'at least a six-game ban' for pushing referee Chris Kavanagh and shouting in his face on Sunday.
Mitrovic was shown red in a moment of madness by Fulham, during which Willian and Marco Silva were also dismissed.
But speaking exclusively to Express Sport, Ref Support UK CEO Martin Cassidy believes Mitrovic's punishment should go beyond a three-match ban.
He said: "We’re asking for at least a six-game ban here. That’s the sort of thing you see in a grassroots game in Argentina - not the top flight and in the most prestigious cup competition in the world.
"If people think they can behave like that in a top-flight arena, what chance has the grassroots referee got?"
Newcastle United are eyeing a summer swoop for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
According to The Telegraph, Eddie Howe wants to reignite his January interest as he believes McTominay has the physical attributes to thrive in his system.
Newcastle hope United will be willing to sell in the summer when Erik ten Hag will likely need to raise funds through player sales.
And previous reports claim McTominay would be open to a move to St. James' Park for more regular game time.
Oleksandr Zinchenko celebrated with fans on the way home from Arsenal's 4-1 win against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Gunners moved eight points clear of Manchester City at the Premier League summit, having played a game more.
And Zinchenko was in high spirits after the win, leaning out of his window and shouting 'come on' to Arsenal fans gathered outside a London pub.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are reportedly best-placed to sign Jude Bellingham this summer.
According to The Athletic, the finances required to lure Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund have made it 'increasingly unlikely' that Liverpool will lure him to Anfield.
It leaves Man City and Real as the frontrunners, with Manchester United also considered outsiders.
Dortmund are said to want at least £110m for Bellingham this summer, which would make him the most expensive British player in history.
The Tottenham Hotspur dressing room reportedly expect to have a new head coach in charge next season.
According to Sky Sports, many believe Antonio Conte won't remain at the club beyond his current contract, which expires this summer.
The report claims players are willing to accept the responsibility for recent poor results.
However, there is said to have been a sense that Conte almost crossed the line by labelling them selfish and suggesting they were uncommitted after Saturday's collapse at Southampton.
Given Tottenham don't play for two weeks, Daniel Levy has time to make a decision on Conte, should he feel the need to.
