Manchester United have reportedly enquired about two other midfielders as well as Brighton star Moises Caicedo. Erik ten Hag is keen to bring in a player who can challenge Christian Eriksen for a starting spot. A deal for Mason Mount is currently in limbo, with Chelsea reluctant to give up their academy graduate without a fight.
Manchester United have spent the start of the summer transfer window chasing Mount.
But, with a third bid worth £55million rejected on Friday, the Red Devils are now on the lookout for potential alternatives.
United have Caicedo under consideration, with the Brighton star expected to leave the Amex Stadium this summer.
And ESPN say they’ve lodged enquiries over deals for Mohammed Kudus and Taylor Booth, too.
Kudus previously played under Ten Hag at Ajax and could follow in the footsteps of Lisandro Martinez and Antony by swapping Amsterdam for Old Trafford.
