Manchester United staff have grown increasingly concerned about Erik ten Hag's agent, Kees Vos, and his regular involvement in the club's transfer business, according to reports. Ten Hag's prominent control over United's recruitment has come under criticism amid the worst Premier League start in the club's history.

The report claims that Ten Hag's son Nigel works for SEG as an analyst, and the agency's increased influence has left other agents disgruntled over what they view as the Dutchman robbing them of deals.
SEG have a longer history at United, helping bring Dutch trio Robin van Persie, Memphis Depay and Daley Blind to Manchester.
However, the agency reportedly didn't feature once in United's 45 intermediary transactions published by the FA between February 2022 and January 2023.
It indicates a sudden change implemented by Ten Hag, who has infamously stuck with signings he trusts across his three transfer windows in the Old Trafford hot seat.
Lisandro Martinez and Antony joined him in switching from Ajax last summer, while he also knew Tyrell Malacia from the Eredivisie.

This year, Wout Weghorst's Dutch roots undoubtedly helped him complete a short-term loan in January.
Ten Hag also became familiar with Mason Mount in the Netherlands and previously coached Andre Onana and Sofyan Amrabat at Ajax and Utrecht, respectively.
SEG have around 600 athletes in their ranks and have insisted that as a globally renowned company, United transactions make up just one per cent of their business.
Meanwhile, United stress that clubs developing a close relationship with agencies through personal relationships is nothing out of the ordinary and that they are comfortable with Vos' growing involvement.
