Wolves start the new campaign in League One after back-to-back relegations.
The 26-year-old was singled out by fans towards the end of last season, coming in for abuse when he sarcastically clapped them as their fate was sealed with a final day defeat at Brighton.
He said: “It has been pretty embarrassing the last few seasons. “I haven’t spoken to Kenny or anyone at Wolves since the season finished. We’re due back on June 25 so I’ll sit down with the club then. I’ve got the ability to play in the Premier League.”
