England winger Andros Townsend suffered a stop-start season at Spurs[GETTY]
Tottenham are set to have a clear out of players when new manager Mauricio Pochettino assumes control of their squad after being appointed on Tuesday.
Redknapp wants to try to take Townsend on a season long loan if he can, with the England winger rated at about £8million by Spurs.
But both Everton and Newcastle are also this summer interested in buying the 22 year old, who had a successful loan spell at QPR in 2013.
Dawson is a player QPR have been chasing for more than a year and a £9m move for the centre-back collapsed in August 2012 after the clubs had agreed terms, when the player rejected the move.

Redknapp now believes he might be able to get the 30 year old for a more manageable £4m.
The QPR manager also fancies trying to capture Rio Ferdinand, released this summer by Manchester United, back down to London.
Newcastle centre-back Steven Taylor is another on his radar.
