Sneijder, who joined the ranks at Galatasaray in January of 2013, is expected to leave in the winter window amid speculation he is unsettled at the Turkish giants.
The former Inter Milan midfielder's agent recently revealed his client's desire to return to Serie A.
Representative Guido Albers said: "Galatasaray are having difficulties paying wages. Sneijder is very keen on a return to Italy."

And Juventus were understood to have agreed a fee for the Dutch playmaker, but today's reports in Italy claim they have now ended their interest.
The news leaves United free to sign the 30-year-old, who has a release clause of £16m.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is keen on a reunion with Sneijder, having previously worked with him during his time in charge of the Netherlands squad.
