Saido Berahino last scored for West Brom in late October
West Brom travel to Stoke for their 3pm kick off in the Premier League with eight-goal Berahino expected to start.
A transfer could be completed as early as New Years day as Spurs look to get their deals done early in the window.
According to reports Mauricio Pochettino will make a tentative £10m to try West Brom's hand, although England U21 star Berahino is expected to go for much more this January.

But Baggies manager Alan Irvine won't be left with a striker crisis should Berahino move, as the Scot prepares to use the transfer fee to sign Burnley forward Danny Ings.
West Brom are one of a number of Premier League clubs targeting Ings next month. The 22-year-old boasts four goals in 16 appearances this term and is available for a lesser fee than Berahino as Burnley accept they cannot hold onto their star talent.
Ings is expected to start against Manchester City today, while Spurs host Manchester United in the 12 noon kick off.
