Jordon Ibe is set to be offered new Liverpool terms
Ibe, 19, has emerged as a key player for Brendan Rodgers since returning in January from a loan spell at Derby, making 12 appearances.
The formalities on a new deal are being finalised and Liverpool will announce the contract next week after Steven Gerrard has played his last game at Anfield.
England Under-21s coach Gareth Southgate will consider Ibe for this summer’s European Championships.
The club are also looking to tie down Jerome Sinclair to a long-term deal.
Sinclair, 18, made his Premier League debut in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last weekend as a second-half substitute.
He became the club's youngest player aged 16 years and six days in a League Cup tie against West Brom in 2012, is set to be loaned out next season in order to speed up his development.
The striker spent part of this campaign at Wigan, making just one appearance, and is likely to interest the likes of Burnley who will return to the Championship next term.
