MK Dons picked up from where they left off after being promoted
Rotherham 1 MK Dons 4
Dean Bowditch was happy to stick it to those who have tipped MK Dons for relegation by thrashing Rotherham.
A great run at the end of last season saw the Dons gain automatic promotion and Bowditch insists they’ve carried the momentum over into their Championship debut .
He said: “It’s a nice way to stick it to those who’ve tipped us to get relegated.
“If you continue it through from last year we’ve now won 10 out of 12 games. We just want to keep that going.
“We’ve shown everyone what we are all about.

“We didn’t have many chances in the first-half but we took them and that’s what we have to do when we come up against bigger and better opposition.”
Goals from Rob Hall, Jordan Spence, Bowditch and Carl Baker did the damage.
A Matt Derbyshire header had levelled it at 1-1 but Rotherham manager Steve Evans insists his side need to be better in both boxes.
He said: “This is as disappointing a start as we could have hoped for.
“You can’t legislate for sloppy defending and individual mistakes but there’s no excuses, we’ll take this bang in the face and get ready to go again. We believe we are better than this.”

Birmingham's keeper Tomasz Kuszczak saved a last-minute penalty
Birmingham 2 Reading 1
BIRMINGHAM goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak turned back the clock to his Manchester United heyday after saving a penalty on his debut for the second time in his career.
The Pole denied Orlando Sa from the spot in the sixth minute of added time as history repeated itself for Kuszczak, who saved a spot kick from Arsenal’s Gilberto Silva on his United debut in 2006.
The 33-year-old ended up on the losing team that time, however, but his save was virtually the final action in a match in which Reading also hit the woodwork three times.
Kuszczak said: “I saved a penalty for the first time in nearly 10 years! You have to enjoy these moments as there aren’t that many like that.”
David Cotteril and Jon Toral goals put Blues in charge before Nick Blackman halved the deficit.
Royals chief Steve Clarke said: “Birmingham will play much better and get nothing from the game.”

Cardiff 1 Fulham 1
Jazz Richards has no regrets about turning his back on the Premier League.
The Wales full back left Swansea in June after six years at the Liberty Stadium.
Now, he’s planning to help Fulham pose a serious threat in the Championship.
“I’ve definitely made the right choice leaving Swansea and coming to Fulham,” said Richards.
“I’ve been on loan at a few clubs and Fulham was one of the better ones. It was an easy choice.
“Kit Symons is a great manager and he’s trying to do things the kind of way Swansea do it.
