Jose Mourinho has been backed to solve Chelsea problems.

Chelsea got their Champions League campaign back on track with a 2-1 win over Dynamo Kiev last night.

And Blues fans showed their support of their beleaguered manager which Mourinho called “amazing”.

Jorge Mendes, Mourinho’s agent, hailed his client as the best and dismissed claims he could leave.

“He doesn't need to prove anything to anybody,” Mendes told BBC Sport.

“He knows what to do. Many people are saying these things but there is no chance [he will leave].

“He will solve the problem. He is the best.”

Left-back Alex Telles will not join Chelsea in January.

Telles was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer but joined Inter Milan on loan from Galatasaray.

And the 22-year-old’s agent Fernando Otto said: “We can’t yet know when the buy-out clause will be exercised.

“What I can say is that he will be bought without doubt, but on the timing I can’t say.

“It wasn’t only PSG who were interested in the summer. There were also Real Madrid and Porto, but Galatasaray initially didn’t consider a loan.

“Then Inter came in, and the presence of (manager Roberto) Mancini made the difference.”

Mourinho has admitted he dropped Eden Hazard and Pedro for last night's victory over Kiev to help boost the morale in the squad.

“Having Hazard and Pedro on the bench helps the morale - they can change the game,” he said.

“With Pedro and Hazard it's a different kind of football.”
