The Gunners kept their first clean sheet of the Champions League campaign as Giroud scored a hat-trick in their 3-0 triumph over Olympiakos last night.
The result ensured Arsenal will play in the last-16 of Europe's elite club competition next year.
"It is a great feeling because it was not easy for us in this group," Giroud said.
"Because of the first games we were not in an easy position and we have shown tonight our strength.
"Finally, we need to carry on being efficient at the back, we feel really good tonight because we have qualified for the next round."
Ramsey has been fielded out wide to accommodate other players during Arsenal's title challenge this season.
He played the full 90 minutes in Greece last night and former Liverpool captain Gerrard reckons the Wales star will only get better.
“Mentally, I don’t think he’ll be happy himself playing out wide because he hasn’t got the legs,” Gerrard said on BT Sport.
“His qualities are all in the middle and for me when he’s in that form he’s the best attacking midfielder in the Premier League.
“So you’ve got to play your best players where they want to be and I’m sure he’ll want to be in the middle.”
