Leicester star Jamie Vardy celebrates scoring for England against Germany in the 3-2 win in Berlin
Vardy has helped push Leicester City to the verge of the Premier League title, and forced his way into England’s Euro 2016 reckoning just four years after plying his trade in non-league football.
Koeman is a big Vardy fan. But his only focus today will be on trying to shackle the goal ace and put the brakes on the Foxes’ title charge when the teams meet at the King Power Stadium.
He said: “Even if you start in a different league or lower league, then there’s always something possible. I think that’s what Vardy has shown everybody, and that story is a crazy story.”
